So Far

Hey Guys,

Time has gone really weirdly. It doesn’t seem that yesterday I went to school. It feels like I have been away from home for weeks.
When we got to the airport we checked in and got some fries from Macca’s. Mum told us that she only wanted a coffee. She got a coffee, then took half of my fries!
We waited for Ros, David, Pat and Sophie and then decided to get some dinner. Shannon ad I both went to Nando’s. We both had an apple juice, chips and three chicken tenderloins. The flavouring we had was lemon and herb. It was the least spicy flavour, but that didn’t stop me from drinking half of dad’s water.

Soon enough we hopped on the plane. I watched a movie called The Descendants. I slept, I went to the toilet twice, I did some maths and I played games. After 13 and a half hours we finally landed in Dubai. The airport was amazing. There were so many shops and everything was so cheap. For example for two ice-creams and a diet coke it only cost us 6 Australian dollars. Something very interesting happened!!!!!! You will never guess. We sat down at a table and Shannon and I went to look around. When we got back there was a man sitting at our table eating. Yes, there was Ros, Sophie and Pat sitting down but he still sat. Then he left his scraps behind when he was finished! How rude! Another man came shortly after, but David told him the seat was taken.

We then went on another plane heading to Malan. This is where I am now. It took us a total of 25 hours to get here. We are about to begin our adventures.

I miss you all.

Courtney

I’m Sad

Hey Guys,

We’ve just dropped Blondie off at her new home for a few days. I was so sad to see the poor thing put on her puppy dog eyes. Why is it that dogs do it so well? She went to the door to come with us and I only just managed to say ‘back soon’. Then her tail went down.

I look forward to seeing her when I get home.

Courtney

The first place we land in is Milan in Italy. Quick fact: did you know that Italy is the fashion capital of Europe? Pity I’m wearing track pants and a T-shirt.
